  3. <hi style=afpcap>The Curtiss SB2C-1 Helldiver was supplied to the Navy in large numbers, with the Air Corps requesting several hundred with the designation A-25 applied. These were similar to the Naval version although they lacked certain items including the wing folding mechanism. Of the 900 ordered, some served with the Army, although the majority were reassigned to the Marines. Depicted is an RA-25A dedicated to reconnaissance. </hi>
